WOW! Angela Shelton was amazing, compelling, intense, energetic, hilarious, motivating, engaging, and emotionally draining. The way she was able to connect with the audience was absolutely a work of love and art. Experiencing this seminar was life-changing for me. What struck me the most about her seminar was how she was able to speak about such an unspeakable subject in such a way that was so graceful and sincere, yet necessary. I am so glad I had the opportunity to experience this seminar. Angela is truly a warrior, speaking for all survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence. Angela is one of the most courageous human beings I’ve ever had the honor to meet.

Janet Nordine from the Las Vegas Rape Crisis Center says, ”Angela brings both tears and laughter to the audience, thus allowing all survivors to heal in a very personal way. Having Angela Shelton visit a community is a remarkable way to bring the epidemic of abuse and assault to the forefront of people’s minds and awareness. Angela has a gift.”

Searching for Angela Shelton
Filmmaker and Activist, Angela Shelton, traveled across the United States meeting other Angela Sheltons in an effort to survey women in America while filming her documentary, Searching for Angela Shelton. What she discovered on this extraordinary journey was both disturbing and eye opening in that 70% of the Angela Sheltons interviewed had been raped, beaten or molested at some point in their lifetime.
After screening her documentary, Angela candidly shares her own experiences as an incest survivor and powerful techniques for healing and letting go of unconscious negative thought patterns. Through her animated and interactive presentation style, Angela very honestly and humorously shares how she ended her patterns of self abuse related to her trauma, how she became a warrior in the fight to stop the violence, and how she now leads a joyful life. She educates the audience with easy to use tools that help victims become survivors and survivors become warriors. She brings levity to the taboo of talking about trauma, and reminds all of us that we are not alone.
Angela Shelton makes you want to be a better person. No matter who you are or what you’ve been through, she inspires her audiences to make positive changes in their lives. She inspires, educates and uplifts.
There are options of a 90 or a 40 minute documentary to fit all schedules. Angela stays for a Q&A afterwards.
