Here is an article about the community event in Iowa.  That was fun!  I talk about the sword a lot as you can see from the top of this blog!  And the theater where I was speaking had a costume shop so I snuck around the backstage and asked the lady who ran the shop if I could borrow a sword to make a point.  She said sure, there’s a whole stack right behind you so I chose the one you see in the picture, awesome!  You should have seen the faces when I walked out on stage with that sword, ha!

And here’s a clip of that comedy evening to benefit PAVE.  I had no plans to do an actual comedy bit, I wrote a song for the occasion but when I was introduced as tonight’s last comic, Angela Shelton, I peed with glee and then I came up with something really fast…   now I have the comedy bug!

WTF.   I hear this all the time in child abuse cases too where the protective mother will share the information that their child shares with them about “daddy putting his pig in my butt…” etc and then the mother gets charged!
