Finally, the artwork arrived for the new audio CD. This is a live speaking gig of me speaking about trauma, healing and techniques to move forward quickly and lead a joyful life no matter what you’ve been through.
This Audio CD, Free E-Book and Commitment Pages are meant to be used in a group setting so get your schools, orgs, agencies, and support groups to get a copy and use it!  It’s funny and helpful and finally here!  It’s a great way to have me there when I can’t be there in person and the cost covers repeated use so that it can be used over and over again!
Yay!  See, I really can be in more than one place at a time and remain joyful when getting letters, cards and emails everyday about trauma!  Told ya.
More to come - gimme a second…

Let the Caged Bird Out! I love Paul Potts!

Sunday, July 1st, 2007

I no longer have a TV (tvbegone.com) so I saw this via YouTube.

I love Paul Potts.

That is what it feels like to see all of your artwork, hear your songs, read your writings, hear your stories, and watch you grow  and escape.  I love it.  So much of the work is in changing those thought patterns in your head, changing your mind, literally.  And when you walk out of some old belief, like Paul did when he let himself sing, you walk into a whole new world, a whole new way of being and seeing things.  The thing that holds us back is that fear, that frozen paralyzed in fear feeling.  I see is so often and have felt it myself and look what happens when you step away from it and into the light, holymolecrapolee.

I feel like dancing!

Quiting Smoking

Friday, June 15th, 2007

I just got the greatest note in the pile of amazing stories with a dollar.  Sarah, you rock!  She sent me five bucks and her story.  The five bucks was her cigarette money.  She put two and two together that her self abuse (smoking) was coming from self hatred and abusing herself because of what her perp had done to her.  And why beat yourself up for what someone else did to you?  That is what we must snap out of.  You are more important than the incident or incidents that he or she or they put you through.  The sum total of you does not equal the abuse.  Refuse to own the label of victim.  You are a Goddess, treat yourself accordingly.   And also you can save all that money that it costs to beat yourself up and take yourself on vacation instead. (liquor, drugs, smokes, men, women, food, sugar, TV, video games… etc etc)
Thank you Sarah!  And your five bucks will go towards paying to keep the site fees paid.  We’ll have more videos and a whole new look soon.  Keep checking http://angelashelton.com/

Here’s some more info on ways to quit for those who get the same idea.

I did it!  I quit.  I feel so much better and today I start my motorcycle classes!
