Tumbleweeds

The Independent Film about Me and My Mom

My very first film was Tumbleweeds. I wrote the book while living in Paris at 18 modeling. When I was 21 I was modeling in New York City and my agent suggested I move into acting and sent me to audition for Gavin O'Connor's first film, Comfortably Numb.

I booked the lead from my very first feature film from my very first audition. Woowee!

Gavin and I became good friends (and later married for one year) and he read the book I wrote about my mom and said it should be a movie!

We started writing the screenplay together based on ONE chapter of the book! I still think that's so funny that there's a feature film from one chapter of that book. Wait until you hear the rest of the story!  We even made the film while we were separated and afterwards were like oh yeah, we should get divorced.

Gavin went on to become a rich and famous director and I introduced him to his second wife whom he had a child with. God love ya'll and the life stories we lead. Don't believe everything you hear in the media, it's all a trap to distract you.

I went on to adapt books into screenplays for hire and book pilots as an actress. It was a lucrative life until... I made Searching for Angela Shelton, that completely transformed my life and still does today.

Check out Tumbleweeds!  You can see it on Amazon Prime: https://amzn.to/4h7whS1

I have the book still that the film was based on- sign up for my emails and I'll let you know about it!
